This project came from my experience working with scientists to refine their data visualizations before they submitted them for publication with their papers. While I was able to address these requests when I had time, most scientists do not have a design team to reach out to, nor do they have the budget to hire a designer for such occasions. I created this guide to serve as a resource for any researcher seeking to present their data in a way that clearly communicates their findings and allows their work to have the most impact.
